INNOVACARBON represents a business idea in development. It was created to follow up on the studies carried out by the team on nanotechnologies and its potential applications in the environmental field. The last decades have been the scenario of continuous recoveries on the possible uses of the carbon-based nanomaterial, thus rediscovering a wide range of areas for its use and a consequent greater demand on the market. The benefits, in fact, that this material can involve are of great importance. For this reason, INNOVACARBON's corporate mission is to provide an alternative solution to environmental problems through the use of nanotechnologies, which are still not widespread in this field as they are difficult to apply. Our solution is to produce adsorbent filters able to break down the dyes of the textile industry and the hydrocarbons of industrial liquid streams, such as the waters of some processes of the chemical industry in which it is necessary to reduce a certain amount of light hydrocarbons, even in tracks. Compared to traditional methods such as membrane treatments in general, those using activated carbon and many others, the filter is not subject to expensive maintenance costs and, indeed, in comparison with other methods of abatement, it is possible to recover the adsorbed substance, if necessary. The team is composed of engineers whose skills have allowed to develop in a complete way all the design phases of a product with a high innovation content: from the recognition of the need and research and development of the materials up to the optimization of the same and its introduction into well-defined application areas.
