    the filter

Innovacarbon is the innovative start-up created to follow up the studies carried out by the team on nanotechnology and its potential applications in the environmental field.
The last decades have been the scene of continuous research on the possible uses of carbon-based nanomaterials, rediscovering a wide range of areas for its use and a consequent increased demand on the market. The benefits that this material can bring are of great importance.
For this reason, Innovacarbon's corporate mission is to provide an alternative solution to environmental problems through the use of nanotechnology, which is still not very widespread in this field as it is difficult to apply. Our solution is to produce adsorbent filters able to break down a wide range of organic substances present in wastewater, such as dyestuffs from the textile industry and hydrocarbons from industrial liquid currents, as well as water from some processes in the chemical industry where it is necessary to break down a certain amount of light hydrocarbons. Compared to traditional methods such as membrane treatments in general and activated carbon treatments, the filter is not subject to expensive maintenance costs and, on the contrary, in comparison with other abatement methods, it is possible to recover the adsorbed substance, if requested by the customer.
Maintaining a strong vocation for research, Innovacarbon's challenge is to continue to increase the application possibilities of this filter material.
The team is made up of engineers whose technical-scientific skills have made it possible to fully develop all the design phases of a product with a high innovation content: from the recognition of the need and research and development of the materials to its optimization and its introduction in well-defined application ranges.
